The elk are down from the high country and grazing on the good forage still on the National Elk Refuge. Truly, the view on the way north of the town of Jackson to the Museum is reflective of Tucker Smith's painting The Refuge. It must be February.

Young at Art

Mondays in February(No Young at Art on Presidents' Day, February 15. Museum Galleries & Shop open) 10:30 - 11:15AMFree for members or with Museum admission Always popular, Young at Art is weekly art classes for toddlers age five and under with their adult caregivers. Programs
focus on the simple art concepts of color,
shape, texture and line. Children will
learn about art and animals by looking at works in the museum galleries and
doing fun, hands-on activities, while socializing with their peer group. Parents will spend quality time with their
child working with exciting materials and instilling an appreciation of
art. Pre-registration is unnecessary
