The Federal Junior Duck Stamp Conservation and Design Program is an integrated art and science curriculum developed to teach environmental science and habitat conservation. It introduces school age children to an important and fragile part of the natural world. It instills a sense of individual responsibility in the maintenance of our environment. And it benefits waterfowl and their habitats as well as all migratory birds and hundreds of plants and animals that share wetland habitats. The NMWA is proud to be the State Receiving Site for the Wyoming Competition. Each year we receive on average 550 entries from around the state. One hundred ribbons are awarded. The 1st – 3rd place winners statewide and the honorable mention winners from Teton County, Wyoming, will be exhibited at the National Museum of Wildlife Art. Afterwards the exhibit travels to three additional venues around the state. For more information regarding exhibit schedules, or to request the exhibit at a location near you, please contact Jane Lavino, NMWA Curator of Education (see contact information listed below). This program is made possible through the generous support of our sponsors: Clarke Nelson, Cynthia & Dick Quast, Joanne & David Stokes, and Spring Creek Ranch.
