Western Visions 2013

Western Visions is the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s largest and longest running fundraiser, with a variety of exciting events. The show features a wide selection of art for sale. More than 150 painters and sculptors participate in the art portion of the show and sale and as many as 2,000 people attend the events.

View the amazing selections from the Sketch Show & Sale including wonderful work by participating Western Visions artists ranging from simple pencil sketches to studies in oil or acrylic.

26th Annual Paintings and Sculpture Show & Sale

9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

More than 200 paintings and sculpture by more than 150 top artists will be on display and available for purchase during the 26th Annual Western Visions.

Be the first to view the spectacular artworks in the Western Visions Miniatures and More Show & Sale and start the night with mini tacos and mini margs provided by the Rising Sage Café.  This event is free and registration is not required.

16th Annual Jewelry & Artisan Luncheon

Enjoy an elegant luncheon at the Four Seasons in Teton Village. Preview and purchase handmade goods by premiere artisans of jewelry, fiber, leather, and other wearable art during this elegant event. This ladies-only event kicks-off the Jewelry and Artisan portion of the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s Western Visions activities. $100 per person. Register online or call 307-732-5412.

Jewelry & Artisan Show & Sale

Thursday, September 12 – Friday, September 13, 2013

This premier show and sale features one-of-a-kind and limited-edition work by the greatest contemporary artisans in the country. Select offerings include handmade fine jewelry, wearable art, leather work, and other beautiful accessories.

26th Annual Wild West Artist Party

6:30 PM – 10:30 PM

As part of the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s 26th Annual Western Visions: Miniatures and More Show & Sale, artists and patrons have an opportunity to view the art, place bids, and mingle with artists before the big sale. The Wild West Artist Party features delicious fare provided by the Rising Sage Café, a full bar, and live entertainment. $150 per person. Going Wild with Mark Eberhard

On the afternoon of Thursday, September 12, join featured artist Mark Eberhard “Going Wild.”  Join Mark Eberhard in learning his process in a process and sketch workshop. Going Wild with Veryl Goodnight

On the morning of Thursday, September 12, join featured artist Veryl Goodnight “Going Wild.”  Veryl Goodnight’s sculpture “Born to Run” will be on display along with a very special “Wild” guest.  Veryl will discuss the physical and behavioral differences between wild canines and dogs and how these differences affect sculptures and paintings. This will be demonstrated by a walk through the Museum to view various depictions of wild canines in the collection. We will finish in front of Veryl’s featured works of dogs, wolves, and a fox. Afterward, Veryl will demonstrate and assist you in sketching a special canine guest. $75 per person. Register online or call 307-732-5412.

26th Annual Miniatures and More Show & Sale

Presentation begins 7:00 PM

Featuring works by over 150 of the country’s leading artists. This is the final opportunity to place your bid prior to the drawing that determines who is going home with a beautiful new work of art.
