John James Audubon is perhaps the most renowned wildlife artist in America, universally acknowledged by both art and natural history museums. The prints in this exhibit are from his first monumental publication, Birds of America (1828 – 1838) and his second major publication Viviparous Quadrupeds of North America (1845 – 1848).
