About the Exhibition

The largest conservation photography and communications initiative ever, Wild Wonders of Europe presents an astonishing view of the continent’s landscapes, flora and fauna. Organized by Staffan Widstrand, Florian Möllers, Magnus Lundgren and Bridget Wijnberg the exhibit features the best of 200,000 images shot by 69 world-class European nature photographers on 133 missions to 48 countries, portraying more than 50 national parks and 1000 animal and plant species.

The powerful photographs showcase the rich and little known natural beauty of Europe, its diverse wildlife and wild places, and positive conservation success stories. In many parts of Europe wildlife is making a remarkable comeback, illustrating that conservation works and expressing hope for the future of European biodiversity.

This exhibit is located in the King Gallery.
