The Education Department is delighted to introduce Lana Grover who has been selected as our Education intern this summer. She will be with us, May 21 – August 31, 2012.
Lana Grover is currently a second year graduate student in the department of Educational Technology at Boise State University. She also enjoys a successful career as a designer, creative director, and instructor of the visual arts in higher education. With over nine years of teaching experience Lana has been recognized for her innovative approach to learning and educational design. Synthesizing modern theory with emerging technologies she has effectively expanded her curriculum design to include an extensive online learning audience.
During the current academic year Lana has also had the privilege of working as a Graduate Assistant to Boise State, Educational Technology Chair, Dr. Kerry Rice. Dr. Rice is a specialist in innovative K-12 practices and as such has further mentored Lana in the areas of social networking, blended environments and asynchronous learning.
In addition to her love for the arts Lana has a deep respect for wildlife and the environment and seeks to preserve and protect it through her work. When she is not teaching, learning or creating Lana can be found enjoying the outdoors, hiking, cycling or participating in a triathlon.
