Plein Air Festival April 12, 2012  |  By Jennifer Lee

Check out this fun twist on our annual Quick Draw, which has been held historically during the winter months.

Re-named “Plein Air Festival,” after the French saying “En Plein Air,” (in the open air), a broad array of masterful artists will have four hours to create a spectacular piece of art, all the while demonstrating, educating, and interacting with on-lookers.  To appease hungry appetites and to make things festive, we’ll also have a Cook-Off during the festivities and visitors get to vote for “People’s Choice.” Kids are welcome, too, and will be invited to paint or sketch their own artwork during a game of Pictionary!  Face painting will also be happening.

Taking place on Saturday, June 16, on the new Sculpture Trail.  Join us and take a piece of Jackson home with you.
