Photo at the Summit September 18, 2012  |  By Amy Goicoechea

Photo at the Summit is an annual workshop held at the Museum every October. And to support budding photograperhs, Rich Clarkson and Associates, producers of the event, generously offers two scholarships to local high school students. This year’s scholarships are awarded to Marlee Ellen Miller, a senior at Jackson Hole High School and Amanda Bauer, a junior the the Jackson Hole Community School.
During the week, these lucky two will receive instruction from world-renowned photographers and the educational value for an aspiring young photographer is priceless.
A majority of each day is spent in the field photographing, returning to the Museum late in the day to critique the shots and develop pictures. This year’s instructors include William Albert Allard, Jose Azel, Jodi Cobb, Michael Forsberg, Deanne Fitzmaurice, Jay Maisl, Tom Mangelsen, Vince Musi, Jim Richardson, Callie Shell, Bob Smith, and Rich Clarkson. Thank you Photography at the Summit!
