Shift 20/20: Me, JH, & Nature October 10, 2013 | By Ponteir Sackrey
This Sunday, October 13, the Museum hosts the third and final night of the new event, Shift, celebrating “Me, Jackson Hole, and Nature.” Guests will be treated to 10 films produced in “Pecha Kucha” style with 20 slides featuring 20 seconds of narrative each, accompanied by music by DJ verT-OnE, food, and fare.
Our own staff produced one of these and it’s neat-o. Check it out here for a sample of what’s to come –
What’s cool about this event is that it has a local component called “mySHIFT” which will take place on Saturday, Oct. 12, from 9 a.m. – 12 p.m., and is being presented by High Country Linen Service, the Jackson, WY, provider of services and products for hotels and motels, restaurants, and parties AND a member of the Museum!.
“mySHIFT is for you, Jackson,” says Mark Barron, owner of High Country Linen. “It will benefit our community and honor our ecosystem.”
“If you enjoyed recreating in Teton County this summer, it’s a perfect opportunity to give back as we transition into winter.”
Mr. Barron is also the Mayor of Jackson (and he’s super-cool).
It’s a pleasure to partner with Shift. This inaugural event is shaping up to be one of the best of the season.
