Wild About the Season First Sunday November 27, 2013 | By Becky Kimmel
Wild about the Season is the December 1st First Sundays, Free for Locals event. Join us between 11 am and 5 pm to enjoy kids’ activities, music and fun for all ages, including a film about Knut, a polar bear born into a German zoo (pictured above). The film will be shown in the Cook Auditorium at 11:30 am, 1 pm and 2:30 pm. Afterwards, visit the Wild Wonders of Europe photo exhibit and find images of the wildlife seen in the film.
Kids will have the opportunity to play games, make holiday ornaments, visit with Santa (1 – 3 pm) and celebrate the Season. The Wonder Cabinet, a new exhibit featuring a Collection of Curiosities, will be the location for a game to encourage kids to locate some of the really cool stuff and win prizes. Family fun for all!
