You don’t want to miss the final Mix’d Media of the season on Thursday, 13 February, 2014 from 6–9 pm. We’ll go on a virtual safari in honor of Nick Brandt’s haunting photos of east African wildlife in Elegy. Visitors will create their own vinyl stickers using Contrasto media and Exacto knives, after getting inspired by Brandt’s graphic images in the exhibit. Chef Itzel will serve up exotic east African food, while we sip on gin & tonics as if we were in the African bush. Museum members will get in FREE to the evening of food, drink, art–making, music, and amazing photos, while non–members will get to check out the scene for just $5. There will also be a cash bar.
Seadar Rose and Aaron Davis will provide a musical compliment to the fine food, cocktails, project, and photographs throughout the evening.
The next Mix’d media won’t happen again until the summer season, so don’t miss it!
Mix’d Media programs are generously sponsored by Cultural Council of Jackson Hole / Town and County Arts for All, First Interstate Bank, Home Health for Pets, and Spring Creek Ranch.
