You’re in for a WILD ride this Thursday, June 12 for the first Mix’d Media of the season outside on the Sculpture Trail from 6-9 pm. We’ll celebrate the newJackson Hole Wild Festival, just in advance if its Sunday kickoff. Visitors will create their own Spirit Animal tarot cards and fetishes with Center of WonderExecutive Director, Lyndsay McCandless. Semi-permanent Spirit Animal tattoo stencils and pens will also be available for those visitors who are a little morewild at heart. Chef Itzel will grill wild sausages: jackalope, wild boar, and elk. Museum members will get in FREE to the evening of food, drink, art -making, and music, while non-members will get to check out the scene for just $5.
The galleries will be open and offer guests the opportunity to explore two new exhibits; Harmless Hunter: The Wildlife Work of Charles M. Russell and From Stone to Glass: Wildlife Sculpture in Multiple Media.
DJ Jefe will provide musical compliment to the fine food, cocktails, and art projects throughout the evening.
In honor of the summer season, Friends of Pathways will offer a bike valet, and the first 50 cyclists will get in FREE!
New this week, guests will also be able to catch a ride with the Limo Lounge at the top and bottom of the hour between 6-9 pm on the Town Square, across from the Cowboy Bar.
