Casting a bronze using the lost wax method is complicated business. We've broken it down into six basic steps. But of course, there's a lot that happens at each
step along the way.
Each step represents a different copy of the original model. These copies alternate between "positives," or duplicates of the model that look just
like the model itself, and "negatives," or molds of the model that fit the model like a glove on a hand.
Each of these copies has a special job to do in creating the next copy in the series. Click on a step to find out more. Watch the Overview Animation to
see how all of these copies fit together.
