Carl: Original Illustrations
by John Potter

Through August 5, 2012
Recently, author Lynn Friess and artist John Potter have collaborated on two books introducing the loveable and curious Carl to the world. Carl is a chipmunk who lives just outside the walls of the Museum. Carl’s adventures within the Museum thus far have seen him training to be a Museum guide as well as helping to solve a perplexing mystery. Potter’s lively original illustrations complement Friess’s fun and inspiring words in this exciting exhibit. Learn more about the artistic process and see how words and images come together into a final book as the Museum presents Carl: Original Illustrations by John Potter.
Yoga on the Trail
Every Thursday through the end of August

Come out and "stretch your wings" in our beautiful new outdoor space, overlooking the National Elk Refuge. Poses such as cat, cobra, and downward facing dog evoke the animal in all of us! Yoga instructors from throughout the valley are volunteering their time and expertise in celebration of our 25th anniversary. All levels welcome. Please bring your own mat. This calss is free, however donations are accepted to support Education Programs. Park in the upper lot and meet us on the Trail!
