The National Museum of Wildlife Art is proud to welcome over 60,000 people through its doors every year, but it’s not easy for everyone to visit this place. How can the Museum’s collection reach as many people as possible?
The Museum is embarking on an exciting new outreach initiative, Bisoncast, that will bring compelling stories about the Museum’s wildlife art and artists to life! Bisoncast is a free, online video series that enables a global community of art and nature lovers to connect with the Museum anytime, anywhere with internet. This new point of entry breaks down financial and geographic barriers while promoting intellectual access, equity, and inclusion.
Each Bisoncast episode features a closer look at select artworks, and considers cultural and historical influences, current relevance, and connections to the natural world. The Museum’s unparalleled setting within the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem gives a breathtaking context to the artistic interpretations and clarity to timely environmental challenges.
Bisoncast is an online video series that provides free access to the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s world-class collection, set amongst the beauty of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem. Bisoncast shares stories the Museum is uniquely positioned to tell ー stories of the relationships between humanity, creative expression, and nature ー to support new ways of seeing and understanding our world and ourselves.
Bisoncast seeks to grow an inclusive, global community around the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s collection. Bisoncast inspires continued curiosity and awareness and empowers discovery, creativity, and engagement.
