SNEAK PEEK of Woven Together: Art and Arachnids

Meet in the Wapiti Gallery at the National Museum of Wildlife Art

FREE to members and included in the cost of general admission.

This is an exciting opportunity to preview a new exhibit prior to its public opening. Sari Ann Platt, Associate Curator of Education, will introduce Woven Together: Art and Arachnids and talk about the artwork and artists featured. Guest ecologist Maggie Raboin, will talk about her discovery of the Mason Spider This exhibition was inspired by and features Beyond Beauty, an episode from the Museum’s Bisoncast video series that stars local spiders—including the mason spider (Castianeira sp.)! Juried works from regional professional artists and art from local K-12 students are also showcased. Stay for lunch after the program and receive a 10% discount at Palate restaurant.
