Sneak Peek: "Photo Ark: Photographs by Joel Sartore"

Jun 9, 2017   |    11:30 am - 12:00 pm

This Sneak Peek will be led by special guest Sue Consolo-Murphy, the Chief of Science & Resource Management at Grand Teton National Park. In 2014, she won the Director's Award for Natural Resource Management, which recognizes excellence in the areas of conservation leadership and resource management. She will guide visitors through the exhibition, highlighting animals found locally in Wyoming and discussing their need for conservation.

Photo Ark: Photographs by Joel Sartore
With ingenuity and wit, National Geographic photographer Joel Sartore has captured portraits of more than 5,000 creatures to date. Many of the animals live in the world’s zoos and aquariums, institutions dedicated to preserving and caring for species of all kinds. This exhibition features many iconic images and allows visitors to follow Sartore around the world on this exciting and important project.
