January 6, 2021

The National Museum of Wildlife Art of the United States is pleased to announce that Michelle Dickson will be the new Programs and Events Director. The Museum Staff and Board of Trustees are confident that Michelle will successfully lead key events that help with fundraising and supporting the Museum’s mission, including Plein Air Fest Etc, Western Visions, Blacktail Gala, and First Sundays.

“With her diverse background, we are eager to hear about Michelle’s new ideas for our programming in 2021,” states Ponteir Sackrey, Chief Advancement Officer, adding, “She will be an asset to the Museum.”

Michelle has been a long-time member of the Jackson Hole community and brings experience in event planning and project management. She previously worked for Rocky Mountain Connections (RMC) where she worked her way up from Director of Operations to Corporate Director of Training. In 2016 she earned Employee of the Year with RMC, and was the ADMEI Excellence Award Winner: “Excellence in Cultural Integration” the year before. Michelle is also a three time award winner for revenue exceeding 105% of the budget with RMC.

As the Programs and Events Director, Michelle will lead the events department and work closely with the Advancement team. “I am excited to join the Museum team and use my experience to reshape events to better connect with the Jackson Hole community,” says Michelle.
