Artist Statement

Misty Light

Rising to the morning light
Swirling mist in mid air flight
She is swept aloft as currents rise
Over golden lowlands, golden skies

Awoken to find my lover gone
With wings pale green on white
An illusion fair, to the air is drawn
Vaporizing from a magical night

“To let it all flow through me…the mind and spirit goes and the tool walks alone, I become the simple vehicle within which the creative source conveys its sacred, inner being. To be in the constant flow and rhythm of the dance is my true ambition and desire."

What People Are Saying

Although I am not a big fan of Western art, I thoroughly enjoyed the museum. The sculpture was stunning, and the views from the museum were beautiful. I learned so much about American artists, and the history of the difficulty in having wildlife paintings accepted by artists' organizations was fascinating. A lovely visit.
