First Sundays – Locals’ Free Day at the Museum

On the first Sunday of every month year-round, Museum admission is FREE for area locals. January First Sunday special programming will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fire education/regeneration themed event will include Smokey the Bear and Woodsy the Owl from the National Forest Service, a musical performance of Lissa Hunter, and crafts for all ages including lei making and poetry. Attendees can also explore the exhibition Succession, a student-curated exhibit by Jackson Hole High School students featuring a collaboration of Lahainaluna High School in Lahaina, HI, which opens on Sunday!
On the first Sunday of winter months, the National Museum of Wildlife Art organizes a family-friendly day with special programs and events connected to the exhibitions on view.
