National Museum of Wildlife Art Gears up for 38th Annual Western Visions® Art Show + Sale

July 21, 2025

The National Museum of Wildlife Art’s (NMWA) largest and longest-running fundraiser, Western Visions, returns for its 38th year this September. The signature evening Show + Sale will take place at 5 p.m. MDT on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at the National Museum of Wildlife Art in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Held annually during the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival, the Western Visions Art Show + Sale showcases top wildlife artists from around the world. Featuring a wide range of traditional and contemporary artworks in a variety of media, the Show + Sale includes more than 170 artists. The sale will feature nearly 140 small-format works and 33 large-format works, all available via an intent-to-purchase draw. “In addition to returning favorites, this year’s roster of participating artists will include nearly twenty new artists,” says Chief Marketing Officer and Western Visions Show Director Madison Webb Stanko. “Western Visions is a celebration of excellence in wildlife art. As the field continues to grow and develop, we are thrilled to welcome new artists, while honoring our long-time supporters.” All artists were required to include an element of nature or wildlife in their work, and participants in the large format category were tasked with interpreting the theme of “wonder.”

The entry window for the intent to purchase draw will close at 6:45 p.m. on September 11, with winners and awards being announced at 7 p.m. The evening will conclude with a celebratory dessert reception until 8:30 p.m. There are three ways to participate in this year’s event—in-person, online, or via proxy. Tickets will be on sale on August 1, 2025, and can be purchased at wildlifeartevents.org, where collectors can also browse the entire online catalog.

New this year, attendees can choose between three ticket tiers: General Admission ($195), VIP ($500), and Benefactor ($1,000). VIP ticket packages will include access to the artist party on Wednesday, September 10, 2025, an elevated tote bag, and entry to the VIP Lounge on sale night. Benefactor tickets are for those looking to attend Western Visions while also giving back to the Museum–they will receive all of the VIP benefits, and $500 of their ticket is a direct donation. “We are excited to offer attendees and collectors these enriched opportunities to engage with artists and support the Museum,” says the Museum’s Executive Director, Steve Seamons.

The Western Visions exhibition will be on view at the Museum from September 6 – September 28, 2025. The digital gallery launched on July 1, 2025 and the public is encouraged to preview the sale online at wildlifeartevents.org!
