Children’s Discovery Gallery
The Children’s Discovery Gallery is open during regular museum hours. It is a beautifully designed, self-directed activity area for children. The gallery includes a hands-on Artist’s Studio, Life-size Diorama, Animal Costumes, Reading Nook, and Puppet Theater.

First Sundays
First Sundays Family Program Series runs the first Sunday of each month November – March. These events are free to area locals and are the “highlight of the year” for many children. Each event offers at least three simultaneous, participatory options through the afternoon. Past First Sundays have included art making, live music, films, scavenger hunts, visits from Santa, snow sculpture, snow mazes, and more.
