Fables, Feathers & Fur

June 2, 2023 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm
  • This event has passed.

Artist Amy Ringholz will be reading her new book, Rabbit and the Crown of Dreams – Legend of the Jackalope, during Fables, Feathers & Fur this week. The reading will be followed by an art project and a book signing. If the weather is nice, the reading will be outside. If not, we will do the reading in the Waipiti Gallery. The art activity will take place in the classroom. The book signing will take place in Sullivan Hall at 11:15 a.m. and 12:45 p.m.

There will be two reading sessions of Fables, Feathers & Fur today: 10:30 a.m. and 11:45 a.m.

Fun for ages 3-6

Storytelling and art-making at the Museum is an exciting opportunity for young visitors to engage with the art through looking, reading, and art-making in the galleries. All materials are provided.

Walk-ins welcome! Registration is only required for groups of 10 or more. We can also accommodate educators interested in scheduling Fables, Feathers & Fur programming for their respective groups. For more information and to schedule your group, please contact jspencer@wildlifeart.org.

Generously sponsored by The Smart Family Fund and Nancy & Dick Collister.
