First Sundays – Locals’ Free Day at the Museum

On the first Sunday of every month year-round, Museum admission is FREE for area locals. On the first Sunday of the winter months, the National Museum of Wildlife Art organizes a family-friendly day with special programs and events connected to the exhibitions on view.
February First Sunday special programming will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. This elk-themed event will include elk education presented by the US Fish & Wildlife Service with a special guest, National Elk Refuge representative Kari Cieszkiewicz, a musical performance by Jackson Hole Community Jazz Band, a touch station with pelts and antlers, a scavenger hunt in the galleries, and an elk-themed tote bag craft for all ages.
