Pairs (Pears) & Prosecco – Community Exhibition Opening

November 7, 2025 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Pairs + Pears! No, you’re not seeing double—or are you? Join us on Friday, November 7 from 5 to 7 p.m. for the community exhibition opening of Two of a Kind? This is a FREE community event.

This exhibition is an exercise in comparison. It invites visitors to consider pairs of artworks, drawn primarily from the Museum’s permanent collection, and contemplate the question posed by its title: are these artworks truly Two of a Kind? During the opening event at the Museum, explore all of our new fall exhibitions, socialize and play an animal pairing game, and enjoy free pear frangipane tarts from Salt Maven Catering + complimentary prosecco or nonalcoholic sparkling drinks from TLS. This event will be hosted inside the Museum.

Attendees are encouraged to explore all of our new fall exhibitions, including Staff Picks and Tiffany Deater: What Lives Underneath.

  • Pear frangipane tarts from Salt Maven Catering (first 300 people)
  • Prosecco from TLS (one drink per person, first 300 people, 21+)
  • Non Alcoholic Drinks (all ages)
  • Music from Aaron Davis & the Mystery Machine
  • Animal pairing game for a chance to win a pair of gloves

This event is generously sponsored by the Friess Wildlife Art Charitable Lead Trust, Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board, and Lea Charitable Trust.
