Saturday Watercolor Workshops on the Sculpture Trail
July 23, 10 a.m. – 12 p.m.
with Fred Kingwill, local watercolor painter
Saturday Workshops are free, and no advance registration is required!
The workshop will begin in the Museum classroom, and will include a tour of the current exhibit Scenes of Transcendent Beauty: Thomas Moran’s Yellowstone to gain inspiration. The tour will be followed by a short watercolor demonstration by a professional artist in the Museum classroom. For the final hour of the program, participants will move outside onto the Sculpture Trail to receive instruction and to paint the flowering native plants that are currently blooming and make up the Greater Yellowstone Botanical Tour.
Materials: We will provide basic materials, but participants are welcome to bring any watercolor art supplies they already have.
