Wildflower Volunteer Workday and Film Screening

June 20, 2023 @ 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm
  • This event has passed.

It’s spring (and summer, fall and winter) on the big screen! Check out the local premiere of “For Everything is a Season.” This 20-minute film illustrates how climate change is altering seasonal timing in the Greater Yellowstone, with cascading effects on plants and wildlife.

Inspired to roll up your sleeves and get planting? Earlier in the day, you can also join The Nature Conservancy’s volunteer workday along the Greater Yellowstone Botanical Garden trail, where you’ll plant native flowers and shrubs, pull weeds and otherwise beautify the grounds of the National Museum of Wildlife Art. A short happy hour follows.

Event Schedule:

  • 1 – 3 p.m.: Volunteer Workday
  • 3:3 0- 4 p.m.: Happy Hour
  • 4 – 5 p.m.: Film screening and Q&A with the filmmakers

Attend any or all of the afternoon’s activities—events are free and open to all. RSVP for either or both events to Sara Domek, sara.domek@tnc.org or 307-220-5646.

The workday and film screening are presented in proud partnership with The Nature Conservancy and the Teton Botanical Garden.
