The Children’s Discovery Gallery is open during regular Museum hours. It is a beautifully designed, self-directed activity area for children. The gallery includes a hands-on Artist’s Studio, Life-size Diorama, Animal Costumes, Reading Nook, and Puppet Theater.

Western Visions® 2025
Through September 28, 2025Western Visions® is the National Museum of Wildlife Art’s largest and longest-running fundraiser and is one of the signature events of the Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival.

A Conceptual Thread
Through November 2, 2025Various types of textile art—quilting, weaving, tapestry, and knitting—will be featured in this exhibit, each showcasing its unique ability to tell stories about wildlife and nature. The exhibition will also include a large communal loom in the Wapiti Gallery; Museum visitors will have the opportunity to contribute to the exhibition by weaving on this loom during their visit.
